The Bible, Historical
The disciples make a point throughout the New Testament to remind their readers that they were eyewitnesses (see Luke 1:3; John 1:14, 19:35, 21:24; 1 Cor 15:6-8; 2 Peter 1:16). Below we will review the Bible in chronological order with the intention to identify just how much of Scripture can be collaborated against extrabiblical sources. While the below is not exhaustive, I hope it provides a glimpse into how historically accurate the Bible's characters and placements align with archeological findings. All dates prior to king David are guesstimates, no dates suggested until the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. As you will see the list is extensive. I am slowly adding sources to each individual, but a quick google search will be sufficent to verify any of the name/place/event below.
